Itinerary – Highlights

Sun. Schedule your departure to coincide with arrival into Israel on Monday. There will be one group pick up at the airport and this will be determined by the majority of the people arriving at the same time.

Mon. Arrival into Israel. Group transfer to NYX Hotel in Herzlia. After check in feel free to explore the area, walk the beach promenade, enjoy the amenities of the hotel, relax and then prepare to meet the group for dinner. 

Tue. – “Halutzim” – today we will learn about the Zionist pioneers. Walk the Independence Trail and pass the states major landmarks – Beit Haatzmaut, Hagana Museum, Bank of Israel, and the first Houses of Tel Aviv. Enjoy the arts and crafts fair at Nahalat Binyamin Street, continue to Old Jaffa and then to the Peres Innovation Center to learn about the cutting edge Israeli innovations – the pioneers of today.

Wed. Check out of Herzlia hotel. Start the day at the Appolonia National Park in Herzlia – from Royal Purple and Glass to Crusader ruins and British police this sites gives us a glimpse of the importance of the Coastal Plain. From here we will drive north on the Via Maris to our next stop at Tel Yokneam (from the days if Joshua to modern times) – the gateway to the Jezreel Valley, enjoy the view and the ruins. We will then continue to our tour with a visit to Seakura Noam Alexander Stream – a startup eco-friendly seaweed farm that explores marine life and it’s benefits in this amazing new tourist center were we will learn about marine farming and healing products. Overnight in Kibbutz Lavi Hotel.

Thu. Tour Kibbutz Lavi. Drive to the Lebanese border and meet with Eitan from Malkiya for a geopolitical tour. We will bring snacks for the soldiers guarding the area. From here we will travel to Tzefat and learn about the Golden Age of this mystical city, with time to do some exploring on our own before we take a visit to R. Shimon Bar Yochai tomb in Meron. Return to Kibbutz Lavi Hotel.

Fri. Free day to explore Tiberias, we will provide a bus to Tverya where you can visit the ancient ruins and Meir Baal HaNess Kever as well as others in the area. Optional boat ride on the Kinneret or enjoy lunch at one of the many lakeside cafes.

Sat. Shabbat Shalom at Kibbutz Lavi. Enjoy a tranquil Shabbat in the mountains.

Sun. Checkout of Kibbutz Lavi and drive to Beit Shan to explore this ancient Roman town. We will continue to the Dead Sea area where we will float in the sea and take a short hike in Ein Gedi and take in the view from Massada. Drive to Jerusalem to check into the Kings Hotel for the remainder of the tour.

Mon. Start the day off with a visit to the Kotel to spend some special time davening there. We will continue to Ir David to the newly discovered streets and structures in the historic City of David. Walk through the Cardo and visit the Plugat Batter Museum. A day of exploration of our ancient roots in this ancient capital of ours.

Tue. We will start the day in Hevron – the Cave of Machpela, we will discuss Avrahams first real estate transaction and the long history of the Jewish community in Hevron. The area of Gush Eztyon was the breadbasket of Jerusalem during the days of the Fitst and Second Temple; the devasting results of the Bar Kochvah revolt ended the Jewish presence in the Gush until the beginning of the 20th Century. Three times the area was settled but on the day of the Declaration of the State of Israel the Gush fell, nineteen years later, after the Six Day War, Israel was able to return to this area – we will have a driven tour of the Gush and visit the Kfar Etzyon Museum dedicated to this story and learn of this amazing history of the area. We will end the day at Kever Rachel.

Wed. Our Tanach & Mishna will come alive today with a otur of the Philistine Museum in Ashdod, a visit to Yavne the tomb of Rban Gamliel. A visit to the Hesder Yeshiva in Kiryat Gat with lunch in the area. Continue to Tel Lacish to combine Tanach history and archeology emphasizing the story of the Assyrian conquest in the days of King Hezehayah.

Thu. We will visit the Herzl Museum to learn about the beginning of the Zionist movement, our tour will end just outside the Knesset at the famous Menorah, engraved with major historical moments from our long journey home. Visit the Stalagmite Caves and the Latrun Tank Museum. Evening drop off at the airport for return flight home. For those opting to extend their visit the bus will return to the King Hotel.

** For those wishing to extend their stay until after Shabbat the additional price will include the hotel stay with Shabbat meals until check out Motzeh Shabbat. Enjoy a free day Friday exploring Jerusalem, revisiting sites, having coffee in many of the cafes like Israelis do Friday afternoons, last minute shopping, etc.

Tue. Jerusalem of Old – enjoy the view of the Old City from Mt. Scopus. Participate in the Emek Tzurim sifting project, revealing artifacts from the City of David. Drive to teh Jewish Quarter and tour the ancient sites, stopping for lunch in the area then going on to spend some spiritual time at the Kotel. End the day in the City of David and Hezekeyas Water Tunnel (bring water proof shoes and flashlights). Optional evening sound and light sound.

Wed. Desert Day – Early start to the day as we drive towards the lowest point on earth to explore the area. After a short hike at Ein Gedi we will continue to Massada Mountains Fortress. We will end the day trying to swim (float) in the Dead Sea. Optional camel riding opportunity.

Thu. Start the day with a short visit to Kever Rochel (Rachel’s Tomb) and continue to Hevron and the Cave of Machpela, then to Gush Etzyon. The Alone Tree, we will learn about the Shmita experience and have time for optional ATVS on Derech Haavot, Deerland rope course (optional zip line).

Fri. Binyamin Region – Extensive tour of Shilo – site of Mishkan, we will tour the ancient Tel and see a movie about its history then to Beit El to view Jacob Dreams Site, and visit the animals at the “Chavat Efrayim” Zoo. Enjoy the afternoon on your own at Machane Yehudah. Return to hotel to prepare for Shabbat.

Sat. Shabbat Shalom 

Sun. Check out of hotel for northern journey. Drive via Route 6 to Hoshaya and Tziporii, where the Sanhedrin use to sit – we will visit Kfar Kedem – a Mishna Village, ride donkeys, prepare pita and live for a while like Chazal. From here we will continue to Tiberias to learn about Dona Grazia, and stop for Mincha at Rambam Tomb. Optional boat ride on the Kinneret. Check into Kibbutz Lavi hotel for a two night stay.

Mon. Golan Adventure. Start the day off with optional rafting on the Jordan River or jeeping in the area. Continue to the Hazbani Stream for a nature walk and to explore the natural beauty of the place. Drive up to Malkiya to meet Eitan for a geopolitical tour – meet with soldiers and bring them snacks experience living on the Lebanese border.

Tue. Check out of the hotel and take an early morning tour of the kibbutz, before continuing to Tzefat to explore the area with hands on activities and learn about the Golden Age of this mystical city. We will have a special visit to Otzer haStam in honor of the Bar and Bat Mitzvahs meet a sofer StaM and write. Drive via the Upper Galil to the Rosh Hanikra Grottoes, continue down the coast to Netanya and overnight in the city.

Wed. We will have an early start and drive to Atlit – we will tour the British Detention Camp and reconstructed Maapilim Boat. Then on to Zichron Yaakov an 1882 village were we will enjoy lunch. Explore the ancient Roman city of Ceasarea including a new movie about Herod. End the day back in Netanya to enjoy beach time & fun.

Thu. Check out of Netanya hotel and drive to Tel Aviv for a tour of the Independence Trail and Old Jaffa – find out some of the secrets of the city. End the day exploring Bullet Factory in Rehovot. Return to Jerusalem for the remainder of the tour.

Fri. Free day to explore on your own.

Sat. Shabbat Shalom. Late check out and evening group transfer to Ben Gurion Airport for return flight home to arriving on Sun. morning.

2 Days of Touring

April 25 We will start the day off exploring the Bullet Factory in Rechovot and the area connected with it. Afterwards we will continue to Old Jaffa for a historic walking tour of this ancient city then onto Tel Aviv to follow the Independence Trail – and learn some of the secrets of the city and the re-creation of the Modern State of Israel. We will end the day at the Yvel Megameria Ethiopian Jewelry factory and hear the story of their Aliyah.

April 26 We will start the day with the panoramic view of the Old City at the Haas Promenade and then on to Rachel’s Tomb to visit and pray. Then drive to the village of Sussia and begin to explore this ancient city and area dating back to the Talmudic times. From here we will continue to Hevron to the Cave of Machpela with the unique chance of visiting the whole site – open only 10 days a year! On our way back we take a driven tour through Gush Etyzon (optional ATV in the area).

Itinerary – Israel Chizuk Mission & Tour

Sun – May 5th Schedule your departure for arrival into Israel for Monday morning. Elal Miami flight leaves at noon and arrives in Israel on Monday at 7am.

Mon – May 6th After arrival in Israel, we will be met at the airport. If in Israel already, please be at airport by 8am. It is Yom Hashoa – Holocaust Memorial Day, so we will visit the museum of the Jewish Soldier of WWII in Latrun. Volunteer in rishon L’Tzion packing food for Holocaust Survivors. We will then head to Tel Aviv and visit ANU – the Museum of the Jewish People, largest Jewish Museum in the world, with a special tour to mark Yom Hashoa. Overnight in Herzliya.

Tue – May 7th – Visit the Shura Army Sofer Stam Center, where the remains of our people from Oct 7th massacre were taken for identification as well as where the Sifre Torah for the IDF battalions are kept and repaired. Learn about their important work. Volunteer picking fruit/vegetables for 1-2hours. Visit the Brothers for Life – Wounded Soldiers Home in Kfar Truman. Guest speaker on current situation. Overnight in Herzliya.

Wed – May 8th Volunteer in agriculture in the Sharon area. Visit the Chanah Senesh Museum in kibbutz Sdot Yam just south of Haifa – learn the story of this amazing poet & paratrooper, who was captured and killed by the Nazis after being sent on a mission to help Hungarian Jews. Visit Caesarea, a port vity built by King Herod and a winery. Overnight in Kibbutz Lavi.

Thu – May 10th Start the day by visiting the Hamat Tiberias ancient synagogue. Chocolate factory in Galita. Drive via the Bikka valley to jerusalem. Stop at Mt. Scopus for an overlook of the Old City. Go to the hotel or to the Machane Yehuda market and enjoy the bustle of preparation for Shabbat. Arrive at the Kings Hotel for Shabbat. 

Sat – May 11th Shabbat Shalom – Services at the Great Synagogue

Sun – May 12th Start the day at the Kotel – time for reflection. Volunteer at Pantry Packers – packing food staples for needy and displaced families. Tour new National Library. Meet with bereaved family. Overnight at Kings.

Mon – May 13th Yom HaZikaron. Join memorial service. Visit Chevron – Rachel’s Tomb, Maarat Hamachpela. Take a walk on Derech HaAvot. After a short tour of Chevron and guest speaker, we will continue to Gush Etzion. We will learn about the pioneers of the Gush that never gave up, and end the day at the Alon Tree, the symbol of Gush Etzion. Visit Gush Etzion and bring treats to soldiers at ‘warm corner’. Yom HaAtzmaot festive services at Great Synagogue, and then join the street celebrations. Overnight at Kings.

Tue – May 14th Yom HaAtzmaot. Festive Shacharit. Extensive tour of old & new Shilo. Join in local festivities. Continue to Beit El. Overnight at Kings.

Wed – May 15th Drive to Sderot, meet town Mayor & Rabbi, tour city, shop at local stores, visit kibbutzim/moshavim shattered by the Oct 7th massacre. Bring snacks to soldiers. Speaker on the future of these communities. Overnight at Kings.

Sat – May 25 Shabbat Shalom day of rest. Motzeh Shabbat Lag Ba’omer bonfires.

Sun -May 26 Check out of Jerusalem hotel and drive to Modiin Hasmonean Museum and interactive movie. Continue via Route 6 to Yoknean for driven tour of area and stop for lunch. Tivon “Hashomer” cemetery, overlook Jezreel Valley and learn about Sanhedrin Trail, Slik (secret cache) in Nahalal. Tiberias, optional boat ride on the Kinneret, overnight in Kibbutz Lavi.

Mon – May 27 We will visit the First Station of Eli Cohen Memorial TRail, then to Givat Yoav to visit a Shofar Factory, enjoy the Robotic Cow Farm at Avnei Eitan. We will pay respects to the soldiers of the Yom Kippur War at Tel Saki, enjoy a visit to a Lavender Farm. End the day with optional rafting on the Jordan. Overnight in Kibbutz Lavi.

Tue – May 28 Today we will spend sometime exploring Tzfat. We will visit Meiron and Rashbi’s grave, enjoy a local winery. Drive via the coast to overnight in Netanya.

Wed – May 29 Visit the Beit Hagdudim center in Moshav Avicahil and learn about Jewish soldiers in the British army. Continue to the Alexander Stream for a nice nature walk (maybe we will meet some turtles). Enjoy a visit to the whimsical “Salt & Pepper” collection. End the day at the Planetanya – planetarium and botnical garden. Return to Netanya for overnight.

Thu – May 30 Drive to Sderot and Western Negev area to meet and strengthen the people there – meet locals, shop to help the local economy and small businesses. PAy a visit to a farm in the area. Return to Jerusalem for remainder of the tour.

Fri – May 31 Free day to enjoy shopping and exploring Jerusalem.

Sat – Jun 1 Shabbat Shalom – day of rest.

Sun – Jun 2 Start of at the Kotel – new Kotel Tunnel Tour, check out whats new at Shiloach Pool in City of David, lunch at Shalva. Visit the new National Library.

Mon – Jun 3 Explore the Maale Adumim region, we will start the day with a water walk to Ein Mabua and we will learn about Jeremaiaha and Song of Songs in this lovely area. Then we will visit a special museum dedicated to artist Moshe Kastel and enjoy lunch nearby. After lunch we will continue to the Good Samaritan Mosaic Center and end the day with an optional jeeping in the desert.

Tue – Jun 4 Start the day off in Hevron and Cave of Machpelah, continue to gush Etzyon and bring treats to the soldiers at Warm Corner, optional ATVS. We will end the day at Kever Rochel (Rachel’s Tomb).

Wed – Jun 5 Yom Yerushalim (Jerusalem Day) – start the day at Shaar Hagay National PArk – dedicated to the soldiers that fought for the read to Jerusalem in 1948 memorial and viewpoint. Stop at the Beir Meir Hollander distillery, Harel Mall, Yvel – visit Megameria Jewelry School and factory and hear about the Ethiopian aliya (Jerusalem day is dedicated to the community that lost 4000 people trying to come to Israel). Join in the March of Flags in the street next to the hotel. Evening transfer to Ben Gurion Airport for return flight home.

Thu – Jun 6 Arrival back home.

Fri – We will start the day at the Herzl Museum and learn about the founder of Zionism through an interactive tour. Continue on to the Michael Levin Base for Lone Soldiers and bring them some treats. Take a walking tour in the quaint Nachlaot neighbourhoods. Enjoy the afternoon on your own at Machane Yehudah. Return to hotel to prepare for Shabbat.

Sat – Shabbat Shalom 

Sun – Check out of hotel for northern journey. Travel to the Gilboa Mountains to learn about King Shaul’s last battle and Gideons Tactics, visit sustainable energy center at Kibbutz Maale Gilboa. Enjoy Beit Alpha Talmudic Synagogue with beautiful mosaic floor. End the day at Sachne Nartiona Park with time for swimming (bring a picnic lunch). Check into Kibbutz Lavi hotel for atwo night stay.

Mon – Lower Golan Adventure. Start the day off with optional rafting on the Jordan River or jeeping in the area. Continue to Gadot Overlook and Memorial learn about the Golan during the 6 Day War. Then travel to the Talmudic Village of Katzrin and experience how life was lived in ancient times. End the day exploring Tverya with free time and optional boat ride on the Kinneret. Overnight in Kibbutz Lavi.

Tue – Check out of the hotel and take an early morning tour of the kibbutz, before continuing to the Golani Museum to learn about the Golani Brigade and pay respects to the fallen soldiers. Drive to Tzefat to explore the area with hands on activities and learn about the Golden Age of this mystical city. We will have a special visit to Otzer haStam in honor of the Bar and Bat Mitzvahs meet a Sofer StaM and write. Continue down the coast to Netanya and overnight in the city.

Wed – We will enjoy some early morning beach time. We will drive to Chana Senesh house in Sdot Yam to learn about the famous paratrooper. Explore the ancient Roman city of Ceasarea including a new movie about Herod. End the day back in Netanya and overnight in the city.

Thu – Check out Netanya hotel and drivel to the Western Negev to volunteer work, and visit the town of Sderot – meet with locals and hear about bravery and resilience. Stop at a local farm on the way back to Jerusalem and check into hotel for the remainder of the tour.

Fri – Free day to explore on your own.

Sat – Shabbat Shalom. Late check out and evening group transfer to Bein Gurion Airport for return flight home and arrival back on Sunday morning.
